Job Overview

This is a hybrid role with two core functions.

  • Situation Manager : When a major IT incident strikes, you will lead the response, coordinate cross‑functional technical teams, manage all stakeholder communication, and drive the issue to resolution with confidence and clarity.
  • TechOps Software Engineer : Your day‑to‑day work focuses on preventing future incidents through advanced technical support, bug hunting, and root‑cause analysis, with a special focus on enhancing our security posture and system observability. You will proactively harden our systems and improve our monitoring capabilities to detect and resolve issues faster than ever before.

Qualifications

  • Incident Management: Demonstrated experience leading incident response efforts, coordinating technical teams, and facilitating blameless post‑mortems.
  • Software Engineering Experience: Proven experience in a technical role such as Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Senior Technical Support, or Software Development, preferably with Java‑based backend systems.
  • Firefighting Skills: Exceptional ability to remain calm, focused, and decisive in high‑pressure situations.
  • Communication Mastery: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, able to articulate complex technical issues to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Technical Foundation: Strong understanding of observability principles (monitoring, logging, tracing) and IT security best practices.
