Job Title: Software Developer (m/f/d)
As a Software Developer (m/f/d) at Sentronics Metrology (a Nova Company) in Mannheim, you will take on a key role in developing precise software solutions for our innovative metrology systems used in semiconductor manufacturing. You will contribute to software architecture, design intuitive user interfaces, and develop high-performance database structures – working closely with our application and commissioning teams.
With your technical expertise and collaborative mindset, you will play a vital part in continuously advancing our high-tech systems and ensuring their reliable, top-level performance.

Role Responsibilities:

• Developing and testing high-performance software solutions for our high-precision measurement systems in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Developing software components for communication via the SECS/GEM protocol and seamlessly integrating them into our system architecture.
• Taking responsibility for process control and integrating automation units such as load ports, pre-aligners, and robots into the production processes of semiconductor manufacturing.

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in computer science or (technical) informatics, holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree – ideally with a focus on software development.
• Strong track record of several years of professional software development experience (minimum of two years).
• Strong expertise in C# is required; experience with C++ is an advantage.
• Proficiency in working with Azure DevOps as part of your daily professional routine.
• Familiarity with the SECS/GEM communication protocol is a plus.
• Excellent German and English skills for working in an international context.
• Ability to work in a structured manner, communicate clearly and purposefully, and value collaboration within interdisciplinary teams.
