    We are seeking a Software Product Owner to drive the successful delivery of client-requested software enhancements in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in requirements gathering and business analysis, ready to take full ownership of solutions rather than just documenting them. You will act as a bridge between stakeholders, clients, and development teams, translating requests into actionable specifications, prioritizing features, and ensuring high-quality delivery. The role offers hands-on involvement in testing, post-release monitoring, and ongoing process improvements. You will also have the opportunity to develop deep expertise in operational systems and the premium finance industry while shaping solutions that maximize efficiency and business impact.

    Accountabilities:

    • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, internal stakeholders, and development teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
    • Translate client requests into actionable software specifications, proposing optimal solutions rather than simply documenting requests.
    • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business impact, technical feasibility, and resource availability.
    • Collaborate closely with Developers, QA, and Subject Matter Experts throughout the software development lifecycle.
    • Participate in hands-on testing to ensure delivered features meet business and technical requirements.
    • Monitor system performance post-release and recommend improvements where necessary.
    • Develop subject matter expertise in operational systems and relevant industry processes to inform solution design.

    Requirements

    • 7+ years of experience gathering, documenting, and analyzing business, functional, and technical requirements for software products.
    • 1–3 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role with demonstrated influence on product delivery.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define optimal solutions that balance business needs and technical constraints.
    • Experience working with SaaS or enterprise platforms in cross-functional teams.
    • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Postman, MS Word, and Excel.
    • Knowledge of insurance, premium finance, or financial services is a plus.
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
