Specialist, Cyber Security

As a Cyber Security Specialist you will be responsible for protecting SCADA systems for wind power plants both onshore and offshore. Join us in advancing innovation and ensuring resilient cybersecurity solutions for our global renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Review legal and customer documentation to identify and extract relevant technical requirements.
• Map cybersecurity requirements to a generic durable and trusted cybersecurity architecture.
• Collaborate with value chain representatives to ensure architecture alignment across all lifecycle stages including production, commissioning, and service operations.
• Enable appropriate security controls to safeguard OT data and infrastructure.
• Engage in the change management process to ensure consistent cybersecurity practices.
• Assist the team in handling cybersecurity incidents as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Good understanding of industry standards, particularly IEC 62443 and IEC 62351.
• Awareness of cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, and hacking techniques.
• Familiarity with advanced security practices such as forensic analysis, ethical hacking, and security testing.
• Experience working with Industrial Control Systems in a similar role.
• Ample experience in project execution and change management processes.
• Several years of experience in the energy sector or related fields is beneficial.
• Fluency in technical English, both written and oral.

• Capable of functioning adequately in a remote work environment.
• Effective communication skills with proficiency in stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage tasks individually and collaborate effectively with a team.

Additional Information

Primary work location: Hamburg, Germany. Alternative locations: Malmö, Sweden; Husum, Germany. Up to 60 travel days per year. Apply on or before 15th Nov 2025.
