Job Title: Network Security Engineer

A leading name in Network Security are seeking a Network Security Engineer with strong experience in routing, switching, and secure tunneling technologies. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, customer-focused, and able to apply both technical expertise and common sense when troubleshooting and resolving network issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex routing and switching infrastructures.
• Implementing and managing IPsec VPNs and tunneling solutions to ensure secure connectivity.
• Diagnosing and resolving customer network issues, applying a pragmatic, customer-first approach.
• Supporting and optimizing existing LAN, WAN, and firewall infrastructures.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end networking solutions.
• Maintaining thorough documentation of network configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
• Staying current with emerging networking technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in network engineering/technician roles
• Strong knowledge of IPsec, VPNs, tunneling, routing, and switching fundamentals
• CCNA certification strongly preferred but not required.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers and resolving escalated issues
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to balance technical depth and practical solutions
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

This is a fully remote 12 month contract, successful applicants must speak fluent English & French.
Applicants must be prepared to work European Time Zone.
