B2B Sales Manager - Software Sales

We’re partnering with a growing, tech-driven software business in Southern Germany that is looking to hire a Sales Manager to take ownership of new business across the German market.

This is a true hunter role — ideal for someone who thrives on building pipeline from scratch, enjoys working closely with leadership, and wants to play a key role in shaping the commercial function of a scaling SaaS company.

The Opportunity

  • Own and drive new logo acquisition across Germany
  • Sell a B2B SaaS solution focused on educational institutions (administrative & student management systems)
  • Work directly with the Director in a lean, high-impact environment
  • Help build structure, processes, and sales strategy from the ground up
  • Act as the go-to commercial lead with full ownership of the sales cycle

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and close new business opportunities (full 360 sales cycle)
  • Build and manage your own pipeline through proactive outreach & networking
  • Engage senior stakeholders within schools and educational organisations
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations
  • Manage and maintain accurate pipeline reporting via CRM (Sugar)
  • Contribute to shaping sales strategy, messaging, and go-to-market approach

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in B2B SaaS sales (new business focused)
  • Strong hunter mentality with a track record of winning new clients
  • Fluent German (essential) and professional-level communication skills
  • Based in Bavaria (or willing to be in-office regularly)
  • Experience selling into the education sector (highly desirable)
  • Background in SME / scale-up environments — someone who can build, not just maintain
  • Confident, hands‑on, and comfortable working without a large support team
