Banking & Capital Markets Lawyer

Responsibilities :

• Assist on a wide range of banking and capital markets transactions, including financing arrangements, debt instruments, and structured products.
• Draft, review, and assist in negotiating banking and capital markets documentation under partner supervision.
• Support partners and senior associates on cross-border transactions, regulatory analysis, and deal execution.
• Participate in client calls, internal discussions, and transaction closings, progressively gaining autonomy and responsibility.

Candidate Profile :

• 0 to 3 years of experience in banking and capital markets, either within a law firm or through relevant legal internships.
• Strong interest in both banking and capital markets work, with a willingness to develop expertise across both areas.
• Excellent academic background with strong drafting and analytical skills.
• Fluent in English; French or any additional language is an asset.
• Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a demanding yet supportive environment.
