MyoPax is a biotechnology start-up in Berlin focused on developing novel cell and gene therapies for muscular diseases. Tasks

Role Description

For our laboratory in the Co.Lab on the Bayer AG campus in Berlin‑Wedding, we are looking for an experienced and reliable person with a passion for working with cells. You work carefully, take responsibility for stable laboratory processes, and want to make a difference with us in the development of cell therapies. A prompt start is desired.

The focus is on human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) as well as, depending on the project, primary cells and the associated cell and molecular biology methods.

Requirements

Responsibilities / Candidate Profile:

• You plan and carry out experiments carefully, document results in a structured way, and actively contribute to the stability of our laboratory workflows.
• Common methods:
• Culture of hiPSCs and human muscle stem cells (sterile work, also without antibiotics)
• Immunofluorescence staining and microscopy
• Flow cytometry
• Molecular biology assays
• Histological work
• Hands‑on prior experience with cell culture is required, ideally with hiPSCs.
• In addition, you will take on tasks in laboratory organisation and lab management, for example inventory management, order and maintenance of work areas, and autoclaving.
• Willingness to perform planned weekend work is part of the requirements.
• Team spirit and the willingness to take responsibility both experimentally and organisationally.
