Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and insights-driven Consumer Insights Analyst (m / f / d) with a passion for the beauty industry and a strong analytical mindset. In this role, you’ll be at the intersection of data and strategy—working with both internal first-party data (from our retail and online channels) and external third-party sources (such as Circana, Nielsen, Toluna and others) to uncover consumer behavior trends and business opportunities.

You will be instrumental in helping the business make informed, data-backed decisions that drive growth, enhance customer experience, and keep us at the forefront of the beauty market.

Your Responsibilities :

  • Analyze and interpret first-party data (e.g., sales, CRM, ecommerce metrics) alongside third-party data (e.g., Circana, Nielsen, panel data, syndicated reports) to provide a holistic view of the beauty consumer.
  • Develop and deliver clear, visually engaging reports and presentations using Excel , PowerPoint , and AI-enhanced platforms.
  • Identify key consumer trends, purchase behavior, product performance, and category shifts to support marketing, product development, and commercial teams.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to coordinate research projects, data pulls, and insight generation.
  • Leverage AI tools and platforms to enhance data analysis, automate insights, and stay ahead of emerging consumer needs and behaviors.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape through third-party tools and market data, providing regular benchmarking and opportunity assessments.
  • Synthesize insights into strategic recommendations that inform go-to-market planning, brand positioning, and customer engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

Your Profile :

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or analytics— preferably within the beauty or CPG industries .
  • Experience working with third-party market research providers (Circana, Nielsen, Kantar, etc.).
  • Comfortable analyzing large, complex datasets and distilling findings into clear business narratives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data models) and PowerPoint (executive-level presentations).
  • Familiarity with AI tools for analysis or visualization (e.g., ChatGPT, Tableau with AI features, predictive analytics platforms).
  • Strong understanding of consumer psychology, purchase behavior, and the retail / ecommerce landscape.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
