Customer Support Engineer (d/m/w)

For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS, we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH.

The position holder (d/m/w) works as Customer Support Engineer.

Your Tasks

• Setup, installation and maintenance of virtual and physical Linux servers (HP Synergy, HP Blade Center, HP Proliant and HP 3PAR storage)
• Incident management (2nd level support for RedHat Enterprise Linux and CentOS systems)
• Analysis of complex incidents and execution of problem management activities
• Support in operational release management (Core and Radio Network)
• Change and configuration management
• Responsibility for required technical documentation

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training as IT specialist (Fachinformatiker/in), IT systems electronics technician (IT-Systemelektroniker/in) or IT systems management assistant (IT-Systemkaufmann/-frau) with several years of professional experience, or a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
• Experience in firewall environments (mandatory)
• Good knowledge in network technology, TCP/IP, switching and routing
• RedHat knowledge is desirable
• Linux knowledge is an advantage
• VMware knowledge is desirableFluent German and English (negotiation level)
