Tangany, based in Munich, is an innovative technology company offering a market-leading B2B solution for the custody of digital assets (e.g., cryptocurrencies, tokenized assets, NFTs) on blockchain networks. The solution is already used by more than 50 institutional customers. As a licensed financial institution, Tangany GmbH is regulated by BaFin.

Our customers integrate blockchain technology securely into their systems via our modern APIs. This white‑label solution saves development costs and time, enabling quick market access and ease of use for end users. Regulatory requirements can be covered for suitable assets through Tangany’s crypto custody license.

For our continued growth we are looking for a Digital Assets Operations Manager (m/w/d) to strengthen our team.

Responsibilities

• Interdisciplinary execution and monitoring of processes around custody of digital assets: transaction management, anti‑money laundering & KYC checks, data analysis and reporting.
• Steering blockchain transactions for our institutional clients across various custody technologies such as hot wallets and cold wallets.
• Analysis and classification of new blockchain protocols, protocol upgrades, staking mechanisms and other technology developments.
• Operational design and prototyping of new services, e.g., for staking or DeFi applications.
• Continuous improvement and automation of internal processes to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
• Building personal, trust‑based client relationships as a direct and engaged point of contact for partners such as banks and financial institutions.

Hinweis: This is not a "Remote" position; regular office presence is required, e.g., for interaction with cold‑wallet hardware.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in business administration, information technology, law or a comparable field.
• At least one year of professional experience (including internships) in operational roles with client contact.
• Basic interest in blockchain technology and digital assets.
• Desirable: experience (even private) with cold wallets.
• High degree of reliability and accuracy in dealing with numbers and data, even under high load.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication strength in German and English.
• Pleasure in working in an international, highly motivated team.
