Job Description

What’s the role?

As a Dynatrace Digital Experience Monitoring - Solutions Engineer, you will be a key member of the sales engine providing excellent technical support to the sales team. You will be the expert on Dynatrace and observability, specializing in Digital Experience Monitoring and Business Analytics. You will execute great demos, manage POCs onsite and remote, build customer relationships, and handle RFIs & RFPs. You will collaborate with innovation labs, Expert Services consultants, CSMs, and marketing.

Qualifications

• Previous technical customer‑facing role or 5+ years in digital experience monitoring and business analytics technologies.
• Excellent team player with ability to work across disciplines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to translate technical value into business value.
• Can troubleshoot technical issues and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong desire to grow professionally, adapt to a changing environment, and coachable.
• Willing to travel up to 30% of the time.

Preferred Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with tools such as AppDynamics, DataDog, New Relic, Catchpoint, GlassBox, Quantum Metric, Full Story, and Blue Triangle.
• Experience instrumenting, configuring, and customizing real user monitoring agents for web and mobile apps.
• Experience leveraging query languages or BI tools to extract performance and business answers from real user monitoring data.
• Advanced experience with web technologies (JavaScript, Angular, React, HTML, CSS).
• Experience with session‑replay tools.
• Experience with mobile frameworks such as Cordova, Flutter, React Native, Xamarin, and .NET Maui.
• Experience with tag management technologies such as Google Tag Manager and Adobe Experience Manager/Cloud.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Serverless, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Evangelize Dynatrace’s product offerings at trade shows and key customer meetings.
• Partner with sales reps to identify new and incremental sales opportunities.
• Participate in PoC creation and cloud architecture discussions; lead solution evaluation.
• Present Dynatrace’s vision to C‑suite executives.
• Provide technical guidance during Discovery, Solution Evaluation, and Proposal stages.
• Deliver on‑stage demonstrations at industry or partner‑sponsored events.
• Gather and provide customer feedback to Product Management.
• Share best practices and build team capabilities.
• Collaborate with local Sales and Sales Engineering leadership for learning/development opportunities.
• Create and modify Dynatrace template presentations for customers.
• Support partners, acting as technical advisor and coach.
