Role Overview
As the Manager of the EMEA Portfolio Enablement Managers (PEM) team, you will lead a high‑performing group of portfolio managers responsible for driving the success of existing services and ensuring flawless execution of new service launches across the EMEA region. This includes the full SSG portfolio: Global Product Services, Sustainability, Configuration and Deployment Services, and Advanced AI/Hybrid Cloud Services. A core focus of this role is the enablement and growth of advanced services—particularly Hyper Cloud and AI solutions. You will act as a strategic advisor and the EMEA counterpart to the WW Hyper Cloud Services (HCS) and AI product development teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of portfolio managers in line with Lenovo’s culture and values.
- Define and manage strategic KPIs aligned with Lenovo’s business goals to drive measurable impact.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and guide career development through tailored IDPs.
- Drive talent management and succession planning using OHRP tools.
- Implement reward and recognition programs to retain and motivate top talent.
- Prioritize offerings and collaborate with global teams to improve operational efficiency and respond to market trends.
- Lead innovation efforts in AI and Hyper Cloud services, and optimize product development processes.
- Align the team with the OneLenovo strategy, fostering cross‑functional collaboration and improving customer experience.
- Optimize operational models to bring decision‑making closer to the customer and enhance engagement.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in people management, ideally within AI or Hyper Cloud business environments.
- Proven leadership in product management or services portfolio roles, including team motivation and KPI ownership.
- Deep expertise in native AI and Hyper Cloud technologies, with the ability to guide teams in these areas.
- Strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking, strong organizational abilities, and experience managing complex initiatives.
- Fluent in English, with excellent presentation skills and the ability to engage cross‑functional teams.
