German Account Manager, Affiliate Marketing (Cryptocurrency)

LOCATION: The Account Manager, Affiliate Marketing is a remote, work-from-home position. Candidates must reside in the UK or Germany. Some travel is required for client meetings or internal meetings, conferences, etc. Candidates must hold a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.

The Role

Acceleration Partners is accepting applications for Account Manager roles within our growing Affiliate Marketing team. As an Account Manager, you will take ownership of client relationships, manage affiliate marketing campaigns, and work closely with senior leaders to develop and execute strategies that ensure long-term client success. This role requires a big-picture, strategic thinker with a strong go-to-market and growth mindset who can translate data into actionable insights for clients. You will also lead recruitment efforts, engage in networking opportunities, and mentor junior team members. Experience with Crypto, Fintech, or financial services brands is valued, as this role supports complex, fast-moving programs where regulatory awareness, precision, and performance measurement are critical.

Top 5 Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement & Relationship Building: Collaborate closely with Account Directors and Senior Account Managers to cultivate strong client relationships by delivering high-quality outputs and measurable results.
  • Data Analytics & Strategic Recommendations: Analyze performance data to identify issues and opportunities, translate insights into clear, actionable next steps, forecast effectively, and present data-driven recommendations that align KPIs with broader business goals.
  • Campaign & Strategic Partner Management: Focus on nurturing relationships with key partners to ensure alignment with client objectives, attend industry events to discover new partners, and proactively suggest innovative approaches for growth in Crypto, Fintech, and related ecosystems.
  • Operational Execution & Tactical Adjustments: Execute affiliate marketing strategies across multiple accounts, monitor portfolio performance, manage time in a fast-paced environment, mentor Associate Account Managers, delegate tasks, and ensure deadlines are met.

What Success Looks Like

By 6 Months: Support multiple client accounts, build strong relationships, ensure smooth communication, optimize campaigns using data insights, and present actionable recommendations. Client KPIs should be met with strong client satisfaction.

By 1 Year: Take full accountability for client programs, coach Associate Account Managers, and maintain high client satisfaction (Net Promoter Scores 8+).

Minimum Qualifications & Skills:

  • Fluency in German required
  • 3–5 years in online marketing, e-commerce, or affiliate marketing
  • Direct affiliate marketing experience (agency, in-house, or network)
  • Experience with Crypto, Fintech, or financial services brands strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze performance data
  • Experience with Affiliate Networks (e.g., ShareASale, Commission Junction, Impact) is a plus
