Manager, Sales Senior

We are looking for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to pepresent the business unit to our customers in a highly professional and ethical manner promoting product leadership in component and systems technology.

Key Roles And Responsibilities

  • Represent the business unit to our customers in a highly professional and ethical manner promoting product leadership in component and systems technology.
  • Manage a team of people to meet our growth, profitability, EVA, market share, investment initiative, and product leadership objectives for respective customers.
  • Lead global commercial negotiations for respective customer and ensure compliance to annual goals and objectives.
  • Monitor market dynamics, including customer and competitor developments and funnel relevant information to the appropriate Product Business Director for consolidation in our market sensing process and develop sales forecasts and monitor market trends throughout the year for use in monthly forecast adjustments.
  • Develop (with input from cross-functional teams) and deploy comprehensive customer and pricing strategies that improve the profitability and growth of the business unit.
  • Articulate a clear understanding of our market share, competitive position, and profitability at assigned account.
  • Develop and deploy the customer interface strategy (points of contact, frequency) and build strong rapport with key decision makers and sponsors at our key accounts while managing the overall day to day activity.
  • Develop proactive new business opportunity (NBO) plans, tracking and recording progress toward sales objectives.
  • Take ownership of total customer satisfaction, providing global coordination on customer issues, monitoring our performance on key supplier metrics and pursuing corrective action plans as appropriate.
  • Assure compliance with contract review procedures and the business unit’s commercial policies.
  • Manage and participate in the development and scheduling of special projects and customer events.
  • Provide global coordination on customer issues where required.
  • Develops sales forecasts for use in the LRP and monitor market trends throughout the year for use in monthly forecast adjustments.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Significant related sales or engineering experience
  • Significant automotive industry experience required
  • German and English proficiency
