kinisto is a fast-growing startup. Our software is an AI-heavy SaaS, used by construction material suppliers to accelerate their quotation process. The users of our software rely on kinisto each day in their jobs to perform time-critical tasks. We are a fully remote company, registered in Berlin, Germany. We are looking for a Principal Back-End or Fullstack Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Building and deploying new features.
• Maintaining and owning either parts or eventually the entire backend codebase and architecture.
• Possibility to mentor and lead other developers once we grow our team further.
• Improving our architecture, tools, processes, and workflows.

Qualifications

• You had a central role in the development of the application backend in a company with 5-100 people before.
• You enjoy working fast and autonomously in an environment where you are trusted to own your projects from start to finish.
• You are currently based in Europe.
• Clear and effective communication in English is second nature to you.
• Deep understanding of the entire stack of web applications, including fundamentals of networking, distributed computing and databases.
• Expertise in Python, Postgres, Django, DRF, Kubernetes, and ideally Vue.js.
• You are passionate about writing clean, maintainable, and easy-to-understand code.
