Project Manager (m/f/d) Construction / Client Representation / Research Infrastructure

For climate and environmental protection, we at ZBT develop the future technologies of the energy transition from the initial idea to series production! With around 180 employees, the ZBT is one of the largest independent institutes in the field of hydrogen and fuel cell technology in Germany.

As part of the nationwide location competition for the Innovation and Technology Center for Hydrogen Technologies (ITZ), the ZBT was selected by the Federal Ministry of Transport as the main sponsor of the ITZ West sub-center. At the new location in Duisburg-Wedau, a modern research center with large test benches, laboratories and test areas for high-performance hydrogen systems is being built. We are setting up an interdisciplinary team consisting of project management, construction planning and technical infrastructure planning to plan and implement this infrastructure.

• Client representation and project management for new construction and infrastructure projects
• Project management in terms of costs, deadlines and quality
• Coordination of architects, specialist planners and contractors
• Organization and support of tendering and award procedures
• Coordination with internal departments and project partners
• Construction supervision, acceptance and support during commissioning
• Checking invoices and supplements

The technical design of the laboratory and testing infrastructure is carried out by specialized technical planning and internal experts.

Your profile

• Degree in civil engineering, architecture or comparable
• Experience in construction management, construction supervision or project management
• Knowledge of HOAI and VOB
• Structured way of working as well as organizational and communication skills
