Senior Backend Engineer (Remote – Europe)

Overview

Join a leading fintech startup. We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help build and scale the core systems behind a high growth fintech platform. This is a remote role for experienced backend professionals who are passionate about Golang , distributed systems, and clean architecture.

What you will do

• Design and implement backend services and APIs used by thousands of users.
• Contribute to architecture decisions across a modern SaaS stack.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable and scalable infrastructure.
• Maintain a strong focus on performance, security, and code quality.

What we’re looking for

• 8+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Golang .
• Experience with scalable, cloud-native architectures (e.g. AWS, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
