Senior BI Analyst (Operations)

About the job:pawaTech is hiring a Senior BI Analyst (Operations) with a strong background in customer support and payment analysis. You’ll be part of our Business Intelligence (BI) team, collecting data from different databases and turning this into valuable insights. Your work will focus on creating dashboards and reports for daily performance monitoring with close collaboration with business stakeholders and engineers. What you’ll be doing:Focusing on customer support and payment analysis by collecting data from different databases and turning this into valuable insights;Creating dashboards and reports for daily performance monitoring as well as monthly summaries;Collaborate with the Data Warehouse team on table creation, modification, and optimization improvements;Data validation;Reacting to time critical adhoc requests from stakeholders;Engage closely with business stakeholders and engineers;Creating specs for data warehouse;Proactively proposing new ideas, metrics, and analytical approaches to drive impact. What makes you a great candidate:At least 5 years of experience working in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field;Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data querying and manipulation;Experience with data visualisation tools, preferably Tableau and Redash (operational data visualization in Redash, strategic data visualization in Tableau Cloud);Understanding of multi-layered data warehouse and ETL (Extraction Transform Load) processes (Clickhouse experience is a plus);Experience with cloud data layers (BigQuery and GCP considered a plus);Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline (Mathematics, Business, Engineering, and any scientific field with data handling);Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;Comfortable working in a flat, fast-moving environment with direct access to decision-makers;General understanding of the iGaming industry and strong interest in iGaming;A “can-do” attitude - humble, approachable, and open-minded. Extra expertise we appreciate:Hands-on experience with Clickhouse;Prior (even limited) experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4);Prior experience (even limited) with the iGaming industry.
