The Company A well-established renewable energy developer and long-term asset owner with a strong footprint in the German wind market is expanding its in-house operational and technical capabilities. The business is transitioning from a traditional development-led model towards increased long-term ownership of wind assets, placing a growing focus on operational excellence, data-driven performance optimisation, and technical asset oversight. With a robust and expanding wind portfolio, the company offers a stable platform, strong project pipeline, and the opportunity to play a key role in shaping how assets are managed and optimised over the long term.

Job Responsibilities Prepare energy yield assessments for onshore wind projects across Germany Analyse and interpret wind measurement data from met masts and LiDAR systems Review, validate, and quality-check external energy yield and wind assessment reports Assess project-specific losses, uncertainties, and technical risks impacting long-term performance Support internal decision-making for development, financing, and later-stage project optimisation Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal yield calculation methodologies and validation standards Provide technical input across projects from early development through to advanced project stages

Candidate Profile Academic background in Renewable Energy, Wind Energy, Engineering, or a related technical discipline Approximately 3–5 years of relevant professional experience (flexible from junior to senior depending on profile) Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to validation and assessment Experience working with common wind resource and energy yield assessment tools Comfortable working across multiple projects in parallel and collaborating with internal stakeholders Structured, detail-oriented working style with the ability to challenge assumptions and methodologies German language skills at C1 level or above
