Job Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Proven experience in test automation development and integration testing.
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, Ansible, Selenium, PyTest, JUnit, Cucumber, etc.).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Experience with Python, and/or Java, or C++ for scripting and test automation .
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, …).
• Familiarity with Linux environments and scripting (Bash, Shell).
• Understanding of software testing methodologies (unit, integration, system, regression).
• Experience with requirements management & traceability tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to learn basic Spanish if not already proficient.
• Previous experience in space, aviation, or safety‑critical systems.
• Knowledge of ECSS standards, Galileo, or other GNSS‑related programmes.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or virtualization for test environments.
• Certification in software testing.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts for Galileo ground systems, based on system requirements.
• Develop continuous integration / continuous testing (CI/CT) pipelines to support system validation and regression testing.
• Analyse requirements and translate them into test cases and automation scenarios .
• Perform integration and validation testing of complex ground control and mission systems.
• Ensure test traceability against requirements in compliance with ESA/EUSPA standards.
• Collaborate with system engineers, L2 engineers, software developers, and quality managers to improve test coverage and reliability.
• Contribute to test reporting, defect tracking, and root cause analysis .
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA.
