Role Summary

The SRHT (Specialist Rescue & High Threat) Lead will be responsible for coordinating and delivering advanced rescue and emergency response capabilities in offshore environments. This role ensures that specialist rescue operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Working closely with medical teams and operational leadership, you will provide technical expertise in high-threat scenarios, lead emergency drills, and maintain readiness for complex rescue situations.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead and execute specialist rescue operations in offshore and high-risk environments.
  • Act as the technical authority for SRHT procedures and equipment.
  • Coordinate with medical teams during emergency response to ensure integrated care and rescue.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for rescue operations.
  • Maintain and inspect specialist rescue equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Deliver training and competency assessments for SRHT personnel.
  • Participate in emergency drills and scenario planning with client and site teams.
  • Provide technical input into incident reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Essential: Recognized qualifications in specialist rescue (rope access, confined space, high-angle rescue, etc.)

Experience

Essential: Offshore experience and familiarity with wind industry or similar sectors.

Desired: Offshore wind experience

Knowledge & Skills

Essential: Excellent communication skills in German, Fit for offshore work (GWO training and medical fitness certification).
