Job Overview

Amadeus Fire, a leading global insurance provider, seeks an experienced legal counsel to support its insurance operations in Frankfurt am Main. The role involves drafting, negotiating, and reviewing insurance contracts in German and English, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, and advising senior management on insurance‑related legal matters.

Base Pay Range

75,000 – 85,000 EUR per year.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate insurance‑related contracts in German and English.
• Review insurance contracts and terms to ensure compliance and support corporate strategy.
• Provide legal advice to management and business units on insurance and supervisory matters.
• Track legal and regulatory developments in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
• Support cross‑regional projects and product‑backed insurance solutions (embedded insurance), providing legal support for product launches across multiple countries.
• Collaborate closely with regional legal and compliance teams to improve efficiency and reduce risk.

Profile

• Full university degree in law (Volljurist).
• Initial professional experience in a relevant field.
• Experience in the insurance sector is advantageous.
• Excellent command of English.
