System Administrator Windows / VMware

You and your team are responsible for managing ILB's virtual infrastructure and Windows servers. With your specialist knowledge, you will ensure smooth and secure operations from an IT perspective and thus ensure the availability of the systems for ILB employees. You respond to faults as quickly as possible and provide solutions. At the same time, you will help drive forward optimizations as part of exciting projects to relocate applications to the Azure Cloud.

You can look forward to these main tasks:

• Operation, administration and further development of central infrastructure components based on VMware and Microsoft
• System administration and operation of MS Active Directory and Active Directory Certificate Services
• Administration, installation and support of Windows servers and clients as well as technical operation of specialist applications
• Service provider control for outsourced topics
• Provision and further development of solutions for system monitoring, system optimization and documentation
• 2nd/3rd level support through troubleshooting, error analysis and consulting

You have these skills:

• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft environment (AD, DNS, DHCP, PKI, MS SQL, ...)
• Strong knowledge of the VMware environment (VSphere, ESXI, VCenter, ...)
• Confident handling of technical and software components
• Relevant professional experience in the support of network and operating systems
• Independent as well as goal- and solution-oriented way of working, high level of initiative, commitment and willingness to take responsibility
• Team-oriented personality as well as excellent customer and service orientation
• Completed IT specialist training or computer science studies or a comparable degree in an engineering course
• Good written and spoken German language skills
