Harmonic is partnering with a rapidly scaling software company that is transforming how SaaS businesses across Europe and the US manage security, flexibility, and speed of deployment. Backed by over €30m in Series A funding and led by experienced leadership, the company is forecasting significant revenue growth and aims to become a category leader.
The Role
As Team Lead Accounting , you will be responsible for establishing and scaling the finance and accounting function, preparing the company for future IPO readiness. You will report to the CFO, oversee core accounting operations, manage external partners, and implement financial systems and processes that support growth. This role offers a clear progression pathway into senior finance leadership as the business expands.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end accounting processes (O2C, P2P, R2R) and manage external accounting partners in Germany and the US
- Deliver accurate monthly closings and consolidated financial statements
- Manage banking relationships, cash flow, and FX operations
- Act as primary point of contact for external auditors and tax advisors
- Partner with FP&A to provide reliable financial insights that support strategic decision-making
- Enhance and maintain the finance tech stack to drive automation and scalability
- Support the CFO with strategic initiatives including equity, group structure, and international expansion
Requirements (Essential)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting, audit, or financial control
- Strong technical expertise in HGB and IFRS, with advanced Excel skills
- Experience managing external accounting providers and working with cross-functional stakeholders
- Fluency in both German and English
Nice to Have (Preferred)
- Background in a Big 4 audit or consulting practice
- Experience with group consolidations and international accounting structures
- Proactive, structured, and able to work independently with a high level of ownership
What’s on Offer
- Salary: €85,000-€100,000 dependent on experience
- Working Pattern: Hybrid (flexible, 2-3 days per week in office)
- Ideal Start: Flexible (up to 3 months)
