Team Leader Backend-Software Development (m/f/d)

Your mission

• You will be responsible for the planning, coordination and realisation of our backend development projects and will be in charge of the backend team (5 employees).
• This also includes promoting the personal and professional development of your team members.
• You will enjoy independently developing software modules and creating customised operating systems (keywords: Debos and Yocto).
• You will also be responsible for implementing modular signal analysis pipelines and client/ server architectures in C/C++.
• Maintaining high quality standards in code and documentation is a matter of course for you - in this respect you will regularly review the code reviews and implement best practices in your area.
• You will work closely with the front-end team and other development areas (Hardware, Mechanical Construction, Research) as well as Product Management.

Your profile

• You have successfully completed a degree in computer science or a scientific degree specialising in computer science.
• You have already gained several years of experience in backend development and have experience in leading and developing teams.
• You are confident in working with Linux-based operating systems and have good knowledge of C/C++.
• Ideally, you have already gained some experience with OPC-UA.
• You have a good command of written and spoken German and English.
