This position reports to: EL Sales Supp. Mgr.-Configur.&Quotation

Key Responsibilities

• Support the sales organization and its customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
• Serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area.
• Prepare technical descriptions for the applied products and technology.
• Provide technical advice and comments on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers regarding ABB’s products/systems/applications.
• Provide technical support during technical meetings, product presentations, and negotiations.
• Perform analytics and diagnostic studies to determine the most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs; propose the most suitable technical solutions for complex enquiries.
• Deliver product/solution/service-related training; support managers in preparing and validating technical articles to publish.

Main stakeholders are all the customers in the German Region under certain circumstances outposts from our customers in the EU.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tools for this position and the products; independent technical induction in application software and knowledge of standards relating to the relevant product portfolios.
• Demonstrated experience in advanced skills with 2 years of experience in the specified product range.
• Degree required as electrical engineer with a demonstrated track record in the electrical industry, OEM, Building technology.
• Proficiency in German (C2) and English (B1).
