Test Engineer - 12+ months - fulltime - Kassel - ASAP

For our long-standing client, we are looking for a Test Engineer for Automation Software in the Kassel area.

Your main task will be to conduct hardware-related tests of automation solutions (PLC, HMI) and document the results.

Responsibilities

• Performing tests on PLC and HMI systems (hardware-related, mostly manual)
• Creating and documenting test cases in Polarion or similar tools
• Recording and describing defects
• Approving pull requests in Azure DevOps

Requirements

• Experience testing automation solutions (PLC / HMI)
• Knowledge in creating and documenting test cases
• Experience with defect management
• Azure DevOps
• Confident use of Polarion ALM or similar tools

Project details

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: until December 2026
• Workload: 5 days per week

Language: English required, German nice to have
