Testing Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and conduct electrical routine and type tests on high-voltage cables and accessories up to 550 kV.
• Identify faults, deviations, and analyze root causes to initiate corrective actions.
• Prepare test documentation in accordance with internal procedures.
• Collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure quality standards are met.
• Optimize and further develop testing methods, tools, and processes.
• Provide technical support to project management.
• Review project contracts for scope and feasibility.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment and document activities.
• Manage the internal measurement database (QDOC).

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in a technical field (e.g., electrician, electronics technician, mechanic).
• Preferably a degree (HF/FH) in electrical engineering.
• Several years of experience in testing techniques and standards (IEC, DIN VDE).
• Strong analytical skills for fault diagnosis and solution development.
• High precision and diligence in testing and documentation.
• Clear communication skills across all levels.
• Fluent in German; proficient in English.
