To support our Green Aluminium trading desks, we are looking for: Traffic Operator (100%) Your Responsibilities: Negotiating rates/freights and optimizing logistical flows to improve profitability of a tradeOrganizing the transportation of goods between our customers and suppliers globallyClose cooperation with the trading department and other stakeholders to ensure smooth contract executionIssuing customer documentation according to contractual and legal requirementsWarehouse and Stocks allocation managementIdentifying and implementing process improvements to continuously increase quality of our service to stakeholdersUpdating internal sales/trading systems on a regular basisFurther developing analysis and reporting tools around logistics Skills and Experience you bring along: At least 2-3 years’ experience in logistics and administration with physical goods or commodities where hedging was part of the trading strategy is a must At least 2 years experience in a high pressure trading environment is a mustVessel Chartering / Laytime calculationsBulk Materials / Bulk Shipping experience is a plusContainerised freight knowledgeContacts within the Container market / shipping linesWorking knowledge of shipping documentation/ proceduresExperience with Letters of Credit (L/Cs) is a plusVery good IT skills, especially ExcelGood command of English (any additional language is a plus)Strong attention to detail and structured workerExperience working in a high pressure environment with tight deadlinesService oriented problem solver with a pro-active attitude that gets the job done What we offer: Innovative and fast-paced work environmentAn entrepreneurial culture offering multiple opportunities for learning and developmentA high degree of autonomyAn international team, modern office infrastructure, and the possibility of flexible working
