YOCTO EMBEDDED LINUX DEVELOPER (m/f/d)

Responsibilities include:

1. Design and management of customer-oriented Yocto recipes, distributions, BSP, and machine descriptions
2. Linux and/or Unix administration
3. Linux system programming: POSIX/SysV API, system, dbus, udev
4. Linux driver development: character devices, block, and network devices
5. Participate in agile workflows and open communication
6. Self-organization in planning, implementation, and testing
7. Continuous learning and engagement with the Open Source Community

Qualifications:

1. Degree in IT or trained IT specialist
2. Interest in Open Source projects and trends
3. Linux/Unix network administration and programming
4. Shell programming, electrical schematic reading for BSP development
5. Embedded hardware knowledge (ARM, x86)
6. Pattern recognition and systemic thinking
7. Experience with Docker/Podman, Python Virtual Environments, Cross-Compiler, medical devices, IoT

Preferred Know-How:

• Electro-CAD tools (KiCAD, Altium), SCM tools (Git, KAS, Kconfig/Kmake, BitBake, CMake)
