You’ll be part of SumUp’s Marketing Development team , focusing on driving growth through our Retail and Partnerships acquisition channels. This team leads marketing initiatives that drive merchant acquisition and partner engagement through new product launches and innovative campaigns with clear, high-quality, and compelling content across all assets, including retail packaging and POSM, co-branded campaigns, and digital channels.
In this role, you’ll help shape how SumUp shows up in stores and with partners — from the way we tell our product stories on shelves and Amazon, to how we collaborate with industry partners. Reporting to
our Marketing Development Lead , you’ll work cross‑functionally with Product Marketing, Trade Marketing, Business Development, Design and Brand to create content that effectively connects our brand to merchants, retailers, and partners at every touchpoint. This role begins with a two‑year fixed‑term contract, with potential for extension based on future business needs.
Own the content planning and execution for SumUp’s Retail & Partnerships channels — across packaging, in‑store materials, Amazon listings, partner pages, and co‑branded campaigns
Develop and maintain messaging frameworks and narratives tailored to retail merchants, verticals, and partner audiences
Create retail packaging and in‑store content that communicates product value clearly and drives merchant conversion
Produce partner and co‑branded content , including landing pages, onboarding materials, integration content, and promotional assets
Manage Amazon channel content , crafting optimized listings, A+ content, and FAQs aligned with SEO and conversion best practices
Support event‑related communications , from booth messaging and flyers to follow‑up campaigns
Partner with Localization teams to ensure retail and partnership content is accurately adapted and consistent across markets
Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders (Marketing, Design, Product) to ensure alignment across all content initiatives and touchpoints
You have 3‑6 years of experience in retail content, B2B content, content strategy, or partner marketing — ideally in FMCG, consumer electronics, or e‑commerce
You’re skilled at writing clear, engaging copy for both retail and digital channels, balancing creativity with commercial impact
You have experience with marketplace environments (Amazon strongly preferred) and know how to optimize listings for visibility and conversion
You excel at navigating co‑branding and partnership requirements , aligning multiple stakeholders and maintaining brand integrity
You’re organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive , with the ability to manage several content projects simultaneously
You’re data‑informed and eager to use performance insights to improve content effectiveness
You have native‑level English fluency and strong cross‑functional collaboration skills
