Customs & Foreign Trade Specialist (f/m/d) – Processes EMEA page is loaded## Customs & Foreign Trade Specialist (f/m/d) – Processes EMEAlocations: Weinheimtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R\_ **Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!**# Responsibilities:* **Process Analysis & Optimization**: Analyze, structure, and document existing customs and foreign trade processes with a focus on efficiency and standardization – initially in Germany, and later across the EMEA region.* **Digitalization & Data Preparation**: Use and further develop Excel-based solutions, and prepare structured data from SAP and Business Warehouse to support operational processes.* **Operational Daily Business**: Support customs and foreign trade operations for Vibracoustic’s German entities, particularly in the areas of rules of origin and preferences, tariff classification, master data maintenance, and coordination with external partners.* **Preference Handling:** Coordinate preference calculations and process both customer-side and supplier-side long-term supplier declarations for all EU Vibracoustic sites.* **Interface Function**: Act as a subject-matter interface to IT and collaborate closely with EMEA colleagues, including providing support, alignment, and knowledge transfer.* **Regulatory Requirements**: Support the implementation of new legal and regulatory requirements in the customs and foreign trade environment.# Qualifications:* **Education / Studies**: Completed commercial vocational training or a degree related to customs, foreign trade, logistics, or business administration.* **Customs & Foreign Trade Expertise**: Solid practical experience in customs and foreign trade, especially in rules of origin and preferences.* **Digital Affinity & Excel**: Strong Excel skills and openness toward automation and digitalization; experience with macros/VBA, Power Apps, or similar tools is an advantage but not required.* **System Knowledge**: Experience working with SAP and an understanding of system-based process flows.* **Working Style**: Structured, solution‑oriented, and pragmatic approach with a willingness to contribute to operational work.* **Collaboration & Communication**: Confident and professional communication when working with internal interfaces and international colleagues.* **Languages**: Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
