The field of light and data transmission is at the forefront of technological advancements. As a PhD Candidate in Optical Data Transmission, you will be working on cutting-edge projects that require innovative solutions.
Developing new measurement stations with access to higher frequency ranges is just one aspect of your responsibilities. Collaborating closely with simulation, epitaxy, process and chip development groups is also crucial for success.
This role involves designing experiments and analyzing results alongside theoretical knowledge in high-frequency technology. Strong semiconductor physics and optoelectronic components expertise are advantageous but not necessary as training can be provided.
