For climate and environmental protection, we at ZBT develop the future technologies of the energy transition from the initial idea to series production! With around 180 employees, the ZBT is one of the largest independent institutes in the field of hydrogen and fuel cell technology in Germany.

As part of the nationwide location competition for the Innovation and Technology Center for Hydrogen Technologies (ITZ), the ZBT was selected by the Federal Ministry of Transport as the main sponsor of the ITZ West sub-center. At the new location in Duisburg-Wedau, a modern research center with large test benches, laboratories and test areas for high-performance hydrogen systems is being built. We are setting up an interdisciplinary team consisting of project management, construction planning and technical infrastructure planning to plan and implement this infrastructure.

• Planning of laboratory and technical center infrastructure for test benches in the field of fuel cells and electrolysers
• Development of concepts for the integration of test benches into buildings and infrastructure
• Planning of technical systems such as energy and media supply, cooling circuits and electrical power supply
• Planning of gas and hydrogen systems as well as safety concepts (e.g. explosion protection, gas detection) Preparation of technical planning documents and specifications
• Coordination with specialist planners, experts and approval authorities Support for the implementation and commissioning of infrastructure Planning of gas and hydrogen systems and safety concepts (e.g. explosion protection, gas detection)

  A separate project management team is responsible for client-side project management and construction management of the overall project.

Your profile

• Degree, e.g. supply / building technology, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, energy technology or comparable
• Experience in the planning of technical infrastructure, laboratory buildings or industrial plants
• Knowledge in areas such as TGA, media supply or plant planning
• Structured way of working as well as organizational and communication skills
