Responsible for 24‑hour service at reception and personally providing reception services Providing a high‑quality, friendly place for passengers to go when they require tourist and general information or concierge services Organising boarding and disembarkation in cooperation with the Hotel Manager Receiving passenger complaints
Daily checks of passenger and crew lists; issuing and sending departure notices Issuing necessary documents Operating the security system at reception
Drawing up duty rosters Managing and monitoring of subordinate staff Issuing pay slips Conducting appraisal interviews at the end of the trial period or season Training / instructing staff and promoting staff with appropriate potential
Responsible for general and office keys, office materials and printed matter Taking stock of office materials and printed matter at the end of each month Ordering and monitoring office materials, all printed matter, computer systems and accessories Maintaining the Fidelio and MICROS systems; monitoring continual operational readiness of the entire on‑board computer system in cooperation with the respective department on land Set up of staff in MICROS and Fidelio Cooperation with other areas
Daily maintenance of reception cash book, checking and cashing up currency exchanges and passenger income with reception Monitoring and implementing systemic currency exchanges and completing the reception cash book in accordance with the shipping line’s requirements Checking / reviewing the reception cash register and accounts with the Hotel Manager once per voyage Issuing travel expense statements
