The rules for governing AI don’t exist yet. You’ll write them. This is a rare opportunity to sit at the centre of a large‑scale data and AI transformation and define how unstructured data, AI and agentic workflows are governed across a global pharmaceutical company.

Not a compliance role. Not a maintenance role. This is about setting direction where there is no playbook. Your work will shape how data is used across research, manufacturing, quality, commercial, human pharma and animal health – enabling faster innovation, better decisions, and real‑world impact at scale. What you’ll do

• Define enterprise governance models for unstructured data, AI and emerging technologies
• Shape what “good” looks like for data products in an AI‑first environment
• Influence how R&D, manufacturing, quality and commercial teams use data globally
• Coach and lead Product Owners, Architects and Engineers
• Challenge assumptions, set direction, and help write the future operating model for data

What you’ll need

• Strong background in enterprise data management, data governance or data strategy
• Experience working with modern data platforms and complex data ecosystems
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead through ambiguity
• A strategic mindset with the confidence to challenge, shape and define direction
• Experience in regulated environments, AI, or unstructured data is a strong plus
