full-time employee in Information and Communication Technology

for Campus IT, specifically for IT support at the central PC help desk.

Your Responsibilities

IT setup of workstations (installing operating systems and software and their updates), onboarding and training at the workstations, as well as handling error reports and implementation issues, including potential repair and replacement work (first-level and second-level support at the central PC help desk). User support here also involves exploring various approaches without predefined standards
Providing assistance with issues and questions regarding the use of the PC pool, media consoles, and projectors, including the care and maintenance of the corresponding equipment. Technical and administrative support
Planning, consulting, procurement, and disposal of IT hardware (lifecycle management)
Planning and support for virtualized operating system and software deployment

Your Profile

Employees who have successfully completed an apprenticeship in a recognized trade with a training period of at least three years and are employed in their trade or a related field. Furthermore, the ability to work independently and as part of a team is expected.

We also expect

solid knowledge of PC hardware and the Windows operating system. Ideally, also Linux and macOS
in-depth knowledge of client and server environments
