Lead Engineer PEM Stack Development

HydroX is a start-up company in the field of development, assembly, testing and sales of PEM electrolyser stacks. For our young and dynamic team we are looking for a lead engineer for development of PEM electrolyser stacks. You will have the unique opportunity to shape our engineering capability and play a cross leading role in product development.

Your Tasks

• Responsible for stack design and development projects from planning to execution incl. product requirement, specification, modeling, simulation to prototyping, testing and validation
• Lead a cross team of engineers to ensure the on-time project delivery and quality requirements and providing monitoring and technical guidance
• Enhance the team work and smooth communications internally and with engineer partners for the component development like ccm/MEA, BPP and sealing.
• Ensure the technical documentation and product certification
• Build up the simulation competence covering components and system to provide support for product development and system configuration in future

Your Profile

• University degree in mechanical or chemical engineering, physics and materials Science or similar disciplines.
• Over 5 years extensive experience in electrolyser or fuel cell product development with the expertise on stack design and development, incl. the related components, e.g. CCM/MEA, BPP, clamping and sealing.
• Knowledge of CAD, FEM analysis and testing, solid skills in simulation of component and system
• Proactive, independent and accountable
• Fluent in German and English
