Lead Full Stack Engineer

Eagle Search is delighted to be partnered with a fast-growing, European energy technology firm using AI and data-driven automation to transform how large-scale energy assets are operated and traded. Backed by strong leadership and recent investment, the company is building an AI-first data platform at the core of its business.

As part of their growth, we are seeking a Lead Full-Stack Developer. You will be part of the team responsible for the reliability and scalability of their trading infrastructure – ensuring smooth 24/7 operation of our real‑time systems that connect batteries to power markets.

Your Tasks

• Building and maintaining the trading system and all supporting systems (data layer for timeseries and non‑timeseries data, CRM and much more)
• Create new concepts and flows together with the trading team to continuously improve our systems
• Setup and maintain cloud infrastructures for high‑availability and low‑latency applications.
• Take ownership for communicating with external service providers to build and maintain API connections
• Setup and maintain monitoring systems for both technical and business monitoring, as well as reporting exports
• Drive continuous improvement of deployment, observability, and incident‑management processes together with our trading team.

Desired Experience

• Extensive experience with NodeJs & TypeScript, relevant libraries like expressJS
• Extensive experience with databases (noSQL & SQL – MongoDB, PostgreSQL etc.)
• Experience integrating external APIs (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) and working with trading, telemetry or IoT
• Experience with React & TypeScript
• Proven hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
• Data and performance‑intensive domains
• Ability to work in a live production environment with monitoring, alerting, and incident
