The Practical Requirements

Be at least 18 years old when training begins
Hold a valid passport with no travel restrictions
Have completed at least a lower secondary school certificate (Hauptschulabschluss) plus 2 years of work experience, or a completed vocational qualification
Speak and understand German and English fluently—minimum B2 level in both
Be able to swim confidently
Pass a medical fitness examination and security background check (we'll guide you through this)
Own a mobile phone with an active contract
