M&A Analyst/ M&A Associate

Responsibilities

• Support the deal teams during the entire transaction process for the acquisition of projects and in the due diligence processes for new investments or financing schemes
• Developing and reviewing sophisticated financial models / discounted cash flow valuations / scenario analysis and summarizing results in a clear and effective manner
• Ensure the quality and consistency of complex financial models and financial valuation of investment opportunities
• Responsible for producing the investment recommendation presentations (investment memorandums) for internal investment committees
• Support in preparing non-binding and binding offers

Your profile

• Bachelor\'s or master’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related fields
• Alternatively: Business Engineering or Industrial Engineering
• Experience – 2/3 years with at least 1 year in renewable energy experience with a developer, IPP, lender, (M&A) advisor, and/or utility
• Having done sell-side or buy-side M&A transactions or debt financing
• Familiarity with commercial, financial, loan and equity products
• Experience in financial modelling
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Fluent in German and English (written and oral)
• Preferably residing in Berlin or willing to relocate
