Mathematics Expert (Remote)

We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients for Mathematics Subject Matter Experts to contribute to a research initiative focused on advancing AI systems.

In this role, you will apply your mathematics expertise to design and curate high-quality, challenging problems that support the development and evaluation of advanced AI models. This is a structured, short-term engagement with potential for extension based on project needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and curate challenging mathematics problems across relevant subject areas
• Review and evaluate AI-generated mathematical solutions for accuracy and clarity
• Provide structured written feedback to improve solution quality and reasoning
• Ensure problems and solutions meet defined quality and formatting standards
• Collaborate with project teams to refine evaluation frameworks

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or holding a degree in mathematics or a closely related field
• Strong foundation in undergraduate- or graduate-level mathematics
• High attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Fully remote with flexible scheduling
• Expected commitment of approximately 15–20 hours per week, with potential to increase based on availability
• Project duration of approximately 1–2 months, with potential extension
• Hourly compensation: $40
• Weekly payment via secure payment platforms
