Medical Education Partner - European Universities (Medical Doctor)

Location: Berlin / Full-Time (40 hours per week)

The Medical Education Partner - European Universities at AMBOSS partners with European universities to improve how medicine is taught and learned. As an AMBOSS product expert, you will work closely with faculty, educators and deans to help them integrate AMBOSS into medical curricula. You will support them and help them understand how their students are actually learning and how they can fully benefit from AMBOSS.

What will your focus be:

Strategic Partnership with Medical Schools

• You will spend a lot of time talking to deans, educators and faculty members and can think of yourself as the person who bridges what AMBOSS can offer, what medical schools need and how to bring it together.
• You’ll be a partner and contact person to them and make sure that they are using AMBOSS – and if they are struggling, you’ll be there to support them.

Curriculum Integration and Supporting Educators

• You remember yourself from med school what good and bad medical education look like: Here you get to do something about it!
• For example you’ll help educators to integrate AMBOSS into teaching workflows so they can free up time for things a digital tool cannot offer.
• You know what AMBOSS can do – now you’ll train others on how to use it best!
• Together with our data team you will analyse students' performance and then convey this knowledge to educators and faculty members so they know how to best support their students.

Data-Driven Customer Success

• Customer Success in our world means that we make sure a university makes the most of their AMBOSS subscription, so we don’t just sign a contract with them, but they get value from AMBOSS. Think of it as a follow-up care program after they have decided to subscribe to AMBOSS.
• What this means exactly is that behind the scenes you will monitor not only how students are using the platform, but also how professors are using it. E.g., Are they switching the quiz after bedside teaching to AMBOSS? If not: You can show them next time you meet them!
• And you will not only look at one university but a couple of them that are assigned to you (your own portfolio) – and make sure you prioritize the ones that need most help.

Your Profile:

• Did you just finish your medical degree, or are a couple years into residency and up for a change?
• Did you use AMBOSS yourself during med school or residency?
• Have you ever taught? As a tutor, in a seminar or as a doctor to younger med students? Candidates with a passion for teaching and education are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Are you comfortable presenting in front of a room?
• Do you love organizing things and keeping an overview even if the situation changes quickly?
• Do you want to stay close to medicine without being in the hospital every day?
• You like to travel across Europe, meet faculty members and professors from a variety of universities and train them on how to use AMBOSS? You don’t need a background in sales or business, we will teach you that! What we can’t teach however is clinical credibility and genuine interest in how doctors learn!
