Responsibilities

• Technical and disciplinary management of the Oil & Gas Upstream sales team
• Budget planning and ensuring budget compliance
• On-site customer visits together with EMENA (Europe, Middle East & North Africa) subsidiaries and representatives
• Generation and transfer of industry-specific knowledge
• Identifying and analyzing market trends and deriving measures from them
• Competitor monitoring and analysis
• Preparation and delivery of product and business area presentations
• Participation in international business field meetings, trade fairs, and congresses
• Occasional participation in ASM/IASM meetings
• Maintenance of the associated reporting system

Qualifications

• Ideally, a successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering or process engineering, further training as a pump engineer, or successfully completed further training as a technician or comparable qualification
• In-depth knowledge of the design of rotary positive displacement pumps
• Experience in the oil and gas industry and knowledge of the functioning and selection of downhole pumps would be an advantage
• Process-oriented, committed, and independent way of working
• Strong customer focus and entrepreneurial thinking and acting
• High degree of flexibility, resilience, communication skills, and ability to work in a team
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally for several days at a time, both domestically and abroad
• Confident use of common IT tools, in particular MS Office and SAP
