Senior Account Executive, Payments

This role is based in Berlin, Germany.

What you’ll be doing:

• Generate opportunities within our client base by leveraging warm introductions from Account Managers, SDR-sourced introductions, phone and email-based outreach, and follow up on company-led campaigns.
• Effectively lead prospects through a defined sales process from qualification to signing.
• Lead presentations and pricing negotiations.
• Partner with the onboarding team to lead merchants from application to launch.
• Act as a payments subject matter expert for other units, offering guidance and coaching.
• Share product-related feedback with our product teams and collaborate on new product launches.
• Track activities in Salesforce.com.
• Handle other duties and responsibilities as defined by management.

What you need to bring:

• 2+ years of payments experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a closing role in a solution-sales / technology-related environment.
• History of developing your own opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to succeed in a revenue target-based environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Passion for people and technology.
