Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Lead Controller and main contact person for IP/Patent costing, Royalty payments, Balance Sheet and Capex planning, G&A tracking (e.g. travel costs) and R&D funding support
• Steer yearly budget planning, monitor monthly closings and analyze forecast deviations for your assigned areas of responsibility
• Support and be able to fully substitute your fellow team members in all other required financial forecasting processes and tasks esp. in R&D controlling
• Diligent preparation and taking over responsibility of existing and regular management reports (weekly, monthly and quarterly) with a constant aim of either improving them or replacing them with something new
• Challenging the Status Quo, i.e. with your experience and ideas you take ownership of smaller projects and proactively contribute to improving and harmonizing business processes
• Prepare meetings and collaborate intensively and independently with internal business partners, the shared service center and project management offices
• Doing plausibility checks (4-eye principle), analyzing R&D Big Data and performing data consistency in relevant systems (e.g. OneStream, SAP, KLUSA)

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting or other sciences with a major in Finance
• At least 1-3 years of professional experience in Controlling/Finance, Consulting or Accounting which helped you to foster knowledge in Finance and/or Accounting
• An affinity for the semiconductor business and its technology and R&D
• You have expert knowledge Excel and PowerPoint, prior experience in e.g. financial modeling and creating profound management reports are a big plus
• Besides being very proficient in the above-mentioned MS Office apps you have first experience in other visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Denodo), or know about data automation (e.g. Python) and the use of A.I. tools ideally in Finance
• Having knowledge about the operation of OneStream, SAP Business Warehouse and/or KLUSA sets you apart from other applicants
• You are ambitious and you have a high aspiration of the quality of your work and deliverables, caring about the importance of adhering to deadlines in Finance
• You are a team player and a pro-active person, you decide timely and you are not afraid to address obstacles and problems since you aim to learn from them
• You have a growth-mind, and you are always eager to learn more e.g. by asking questions and participating in training on- and outside your job
• You speak and are able to present confidently in both English and German
