Senior Software Architect - Data Analytics & AI (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and architectural guidance for AI-related software development across digital teams
• Enable teams to leverage AI-supported software development practices
• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve architecture guidelines, coding standards, patterns, and best practices
• Promote improved ways of working across teams through training and hands-on support
• Conduct design workshops as well as architecture and code reviews for critical and strategic AI and data analytics projects
• Monitor and evaluate relevant trends (cloud, DevOps, AI in software engineering) and guide their translation into software implementations and guidelines

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, with 8+ years of relevant professional experience
• Extensive hands-on experience in software architecture, combined with a lead developer or senior software engineer role
• Strong command of modern AI-based software engineering methods and architectural approaches, including test automation and secure software development
• Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable cloud-based architectures with AI and data-driven context
• Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills, with excellent communication skills in German (at least C1) and English
• And above all: enthusiasm for taking the use of data analytics and artificial intelligence at TÜV SÜD to the next level together with our developers
