Your Role
As a Systems Engineer (f/m/d) , you areresponsible for the holistic understanding, design, and continuous developmentof our advanced film-scanner systems. Working at the intersection of multipletechnologies, you play a key role in shaping our products - from initialconcept to realization with the team - driving technological advancement andensuring long-term quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop,evaluate, and implement system concepts and technological options forhigh-performance film scanners - from initial idea to series production
- Designsystem architectures considering mechatronics, sensor technology, opticsand illumination, control engineering and real-time systems,high-performance camera systems, and workstation environments (Linux,Nvidia GPU)
- Createinnovative solution approaches, including unconventional pathways, basedon a deep understanding of application requirements and technical boundaryconditions
- Maintaina strong focus on technical excellence, quality, and real-worldapplicability
- Long-termopportunity to grow into the role of a System Architect (f/m/d) withexpanded technical responsibility and leadership of interdisciplinaryteams
Your Qualifications
- Universitydegree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, SystemsEngineering, or equivalent qualifications
- Severalyears of professional experience in the development and commissioning ofcomplex technical systems, ideally with expertise in optics, illumination,image processing, or precision mechanics
- Broadtechnological understanding and the ability to integrate differentengineering disciplines and design their interactions
- Stronggoal- and solution-oriented mindset with a focus on feasibility, quality,and technical excellence
- Hands-onmentality with experience collaborating closely with hardware and softwaredevelopment teams
- Highdegree of autonomy, reliability, and initiative
- Excellentcommunication skills and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration-especially with regards to growing into a System Architect role
- GermanLanguage, minimum C1 level, both written and spoken
- Englishlanguage, minimum B2 level, both written and spoken
