Job Description Summary
The Team Lead Supply Chain Execution is responsible for ensuring stable, reliable and cost‑effective supply chain execution at BD Rowa. The role combines classical Purchasing leadership, operational Supplier Risk Management, and a cross‑functional coordination role for the Rowa Control Center (RCC). The position acts as a central execution anchor between suppliers, internal operations, planning, logistics and cross‑functional stakeholders to safeguard delivery performance, supply continuity and operational resilience.
Responsibilities
- Purchasing & Supply Chain Execution Leadership
- Lead and further develop the Purchasing / Supply Execution team
- Ensure material availability, delivery reliability and cost performance with optimized stock levels
- Drive order management, expediting and supplier operational performance
- Manage escalations related to delivery delays, shortages or quality issues
- Ensure adherence to procurement processes, policies and compliance requirements
- Operational Supplier Risk Management
- Own and execute operational Supplier Risk Management activities
- Identify, assess and monitor short‑term and mid‑term supplier risks (capacity, financial, quality, logistics, geopolitical)
- Drive risk mitigation actions in collaboration with suppliers and internal functions
- Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) on an operational level
- Provide structured risk input to SC Planning, Quality, Operations and Management
- Rowa Control Center (RCC) Coordination
- Act as Supply Chain Execution lead interface to the Rowa Control Center
- Coordinate supply‑related topics within the RCC (e.g. shortages, OTIF deviations, escalations)
- Ensure fast decision‑making and alignment between Purchasing, Planning, Logistics and Operations
- Contribute to the development and stabilization of RCC processes, KPIs and routines
- Support the shift from reactive firefighting to proactive risk and performance management
- Cross‑Functional & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a key interface to:
- Supply Chain Planning
- Manufacturing & Operations
- Quality & Compliance
- Logistics / 3PL
- Finance and Controlling
- Drive cross‑functional problem solving in critical supply situations
- Continuous Improvement & SCM Excellence
- Identify and implement process improvements in supply execution and purchasing
- Drive standardization, transparency and KPI‑based steering
- Support SCM transformation initiatives (e.g. digitalization, tools, system improvements)
- Actively contribute to a robust, resilient and scalable supply chain setup

Salary Range Information
Salary range: €57,300.00 - €87,375.00 EUR Annual
